After a number of failed attempts, including trying to compress the bush down with a jubilee clip, I came up with a small tool to do the job
This basically comprised of a short length of electrical conduit/tubing which was a close fit onto the diameter of the bush, and a socket which just fitted inside the conduit.
I then used an even longer bolt to pull the bush through. Worked a treat and made it real easy. |
